For over two years we hosted the majority of our shows at Game On Saigon, an Australian themed sports bar that doubles up as the perfect comedy venue. Since then we have moved to a smaller venue, the second floor of Heart of Darkness. And for the comedy festivals, we use the Caravelle Hotel.
Prior to running our shows to Game On, we held events at Phatty's, Cargo Bar and Hard Rock Cafe. And at the 2016 Magners International Comedy Festival we also organised a show at Saigon Ranger.
Finding a venue that not only provides the right space for stand-up comedy but is also able to support our shows has been one of the hardest tasks we've faced over the past six years. Heart of Darkness and Caravelle Hotel are proving themselves to be the perfect partner.
With a capacity of up to 80 in the upstairs area, and with a room that suits comedy acoustics to the ground, Heart of Darkness has already been host to some memorable comedic moments.
In 2018, the Magners International Comedy Festival is being hosted entirely at the Caravelle Hotel, allowing us to have audiences of over 500.
